The sardinian inland
Headind inland, after crossing the beautiful valley of Oddoene, you wlll reach Sa Barna. From there it is necessary to continue on foot to penetrate still deeper into the magnificent gorge of Gorroppu. Following the bends of the river as it unwinds in the bottom of the valley, you can bathe in one of the numerous granite wells of transparent water, where in the months of July and August are mirrored the rich and colorful blossoms of the oleander, and where the delicate sardinian trout continues to prosper, a sure sign of the excellent quality of the water. The trail penetrates deeper to the most hidden recesses of the gorge, where it is still possible to see the majestic flight of the royal eagle, or to catch a glimpse of some mouflons as they drink.
